Ivan Throne and the Executive Cadre recently held extemporaneous discussion on how they handle introduction of new allies and assets to the work of the Company, and recommendations for the same.
Discussion was prompted by the response of a new asset under engagement by a Cadre leader to our recent report How Militants Spot Strategic Errors by the Deep State:
I don’t trust the government and I have a hard time trusting people. I trust everyone until I have a reason not to trust them but in the last ten years that has changed. Obama ruined a lot of what I thought were friendships because he brought the hate out in people. We have a group of people in my small town that want to band together when SHTF but I can’t get into it. I don’t want people to know what I have. It’s horrible but it is a "power" I have over others. I feel if people knew my supply of items that they wouldn’t hesitate to take advantage of the things I have to make their group stronger. I just have my family near me and we buy things or make things to sustain us as a group. I can be a leader, I’ve been a leader in the military but I like open options as my style of leadership.
The Founder provided insights on this feedback to assist the Cadre with their analysis and growth management for individuals seeking to expand their survival options:
Sounds like despair, doesn't it? I am not deprecating or criticizing.
This is why hope based on truth and knowledge of truth are both the antidote and fuel.
Give him a copy of Age of Militants.
Every member of the Executive Cadre, and all who follow the work of the Company, are reminded of the importance to keep in mind that all the free materials in the Academy are ammunition.
Ammunition for them, for you, and to be fully distributed to the troops that form as we work towards common goals of safety and security, sustenance and provision, and identity and meaning.
Ivan Throne reminded them of the ninja exhortation that bears such rich and powerful unfolding of new perspective:
Shikin haramitsu daikomyo!
Translated as "within each encounter, enlightenment" it is a foundational concept that advances coherence.
"Everything is training" is another way to express it; so is "pay attention, and you might learn something".
One never fully anticipates what might be the light that you personally deliver to those in need.
Of explicit dissection and focus was the individual's uncertain comment:
It's horrible, but it is a "power" I have over others.
The Founder disagreed, and had this to say:
Not really. It isn't horrible; it just is. It's utterly and permanently neutral. Truth is like that; it just is. And it's not a power over others, unless those others are blind and stupid.
It's just posture and method, to one degree on a gradient like any other.
And that mindset is really nothing more, but also very importantly, the beginning of that man giving himself permission to be unsubjugated.
It's the permission that men struggle with.
Throne continued:
It is post time, gentlemen.
The fires are lit and tires well-kicked.
Go forth and spread word.
You bear hope based on truth, and knowledge of truth.
That is what stands at the end; it is under the whole Armor of God.
Bear it and use it and bring it.
Ivan then shared a separate discussion with the Cadre to review from another platform. It can often be extraordinarily challenging to break through the mindset of the common man, as expressed by an outside poster:
The reason I ask this question is that while it is well and good to be personally enlightened to what is going on, it might be nice to have at least some tools at my side in the form of information so I can at least attempt a discussion with normies around me prior to. My usual experience with such discussions is that I prefer to somehow take them at least one step beyond where they currently are, not try in one breath to take them to some deep conclusion. Getting people to think about large scale calamity is difficult because they are actually hyperbole-resistant due to decades of chicken littles telling them the sky is falling.
[It] needs to be grounded as a very real problem that is really going to effect real people in the real world, and it needs to be a short explanation expressing concepts very briefly that are spoon fed over time.
Here was the Founder's response:
Depends on what your purpose for the discussion is. Gentle pushes are generally absorbed and forgotten; we tend to reserve those for people who are integral to your inner circle and cannot readily be removed (family, co-workers, etc.).
Be willing and able to push the normie past shattered worldview. Doesn't mean you have to do it all the time, or compulsively. Simply have the ability to do it on command.
Here's an example we find useful.
Ask if they are willing to consider a hard and dangerous question.
They will almost always say "yes". Ask if they are sure, and mean it when you ask. You'll probably get a second yes; normies like to pretend to bravery, which leaves them exposed on the field.
"Do you understand what genocides are?" (Yes)
"Do you think genocides will never, ever happen, ever again?" (No)
"Now, very honestly: does it feel like genocides are coming again?" (Yes)
"Well, then. How do you want your genocides?"
"Focused, deliberate, selective, on time, and competent? Or 24/7, wall-to-wall, unrestrained carnage?" (shock)
"Pick one. You'll have to."
The worldview shatters and falls when you ask the right question the right way.
And if the response is "I don't want ANY genocides!", it's simple enough - and entirely truthful, proper, and appropriate in reaction - to simply shrug, and say 'Ok."
And leave it at that.
They will question their worldview.
Subsequent posture and process from them will become determinable and directable rather quickly.
Ivan continued:
Just as Sun Tzu said to throw troops into a place from which there is no escape, if you wish them to fight bitterly - throw a person's worldview (not them) into a place where it cannot survive.
It does something very important.
They will break, to one path or another.
If they are cowards, they will run from truth and resent and despise you for injuring their worldview. Thereby you have revealed them as a churl, one who is not to be trusted on the field.
If they are not cowards, they will adhere to one who brings truth to light.
And it's that simple.
Takes practice to not be an asshole when you do it - critically important to be matter of fact, and not lurid or leering.
The point to deliver is not that YOU know the truth - let them determine that on their own (they will anyway).
The point is to destroy untruth, which is a bad shackle for anyone to live under.
Understand this is not ivory tower work, brothers.
You have to get out and share and speak and lead.
Once you do, magic happens before God.
You pick the person who seeks truth.
And they suddenly have hope; because you've shown them that fear isn't necessary.
Just reality.
Take this to heart, and advance your own light forward.
Men do not leave their brothers behind.
There is no better work.
