Latest updates from the Middle East theater of the Third World War include news of a deliberate airstrike by the Israeli military against the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria.
Multiple sources include video of the strike aftermath and confirmation of the death of a senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commander.
Western media outlets have also reported the destruction.
Israel is a signatory to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Internationally Protected Persons, including Diplomatic Agents.
Of course, to deliberately blow consulates off the map with military strikes is not acceptable State conduct under the Convention.
Israel is also a signatory to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
Objective observers cannot fail to note the obscenely mounting deaths of the unabated genocide taking place in Gaza at the hands of the Israeli military.
Even the Irish government recently announced intention to file a Declaration of Intervention to supplement the recent order of the International Court of Justice regarding the ongoing atrocities there.
C'est la guerre, as the saying goes.
It is what it is. The Third World War will be cruelly unrestricted.
The Ukrainian government in the person of Vasyl Malyuk, head of their Security Service, provides additional example of this abandonment of convention:

Those within every theater of war are urged first to understand the nature of and immediacy of this conflict.
Follow that with direct education on the concept and deployment of lawful reprisals.
